LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the app because its really good for blogging! If you need a site that supports blogs or you want to share photos you should definitely download this app to make your own really cool site or download it on the computers that you may have

App Doesnt Like Me, Apparently

I have not been blogging for very long (just over a month). I feel that I need to be able to keep tabs on it on my iPad as well as on my Mac. Problem: the app doesnt like the password that I JUST CHANGED, because it didnt like the one that has worked on my laptop for several months. Say whut??? Whats the deal with that? Should I delete & try again, or just assume I cant work from my iPad? Thats totally not acceptable, IMO. Have noticed that many users are having crash issues, etc. Am wondering if this is related. Any advice, WordPress &/or Apple, would be greatly appreciated. For now, I will delete app, as its just taking up space. Bummer.

Love this app!

I can manage all of my sites and do most everything from my phone! Love Wordpress and love the app! The ONLY thing I wish is that if I start a draft from my computer and save it, its not available for me to edit through the app. But it DOES work visa versa. Love love love the app. Love WordPress!!

Love Wordpress and love the app

I love this app for Wordpress makes it so much easier to post when and where I want too with great ease. Ive had my blog on Wordpress for four years now and its just awesome

Wordpress

This app is thebomb.com

Word count - really?

I love Wordpress, love my blog and most enjoy the app dashboard. However, it just doesnt seem that word count should be so challenging to have as I type. I prefer to not need other apps to make this happen - defeats the purpose of having the Wordpress app. Word Count would increase stars drastically

Crashes upon launch

Cant use it at all after last update. Crashes right away.

Makes it easy to keep up with my blog on the go

Loving the new notifications! They look way better.

So Far So Good

It was quite easy to set up my blog page. Im acquiring a nice readership so far too. No complaint. Thanks for offering free templates for our sites I love that a lot!

Great App!

Well, by using this app, I recently started my new blog! I have the free plan, and I only wish you could post 15 sec long videos without having to switch to premium, but thats ok! Its a lot of fun! I definitely recommend this app!! :)

From a Novice Point of View

I have sincerely been enjoying the ease of interaction with followers. I have much to learn about setting up my site to be pleasing to the eye. The App on iPhone and iPad are easy to navigate after setting up my account under Windows. Try it.

Super easy to use

Great app, very user friendly. It makes it easy to add pictures and see how your blog stats are doing.

Good app

Nice app, convenient to use. Sometimes I would prefer to use the web version, but that might be personal choice. I have very little experience blogging, (less than 2 years) so I cant really give an objective opinion of this app compared to others. However, my Dad has some experience as a web developer and he says my blog looks very nice and professional.

Wordpress I love. This app, not.

If all you need is a quickie way to add a post or look at what you have, this is fine. A quickie. If youre serious, use the browser. This is no substitute.

Great App

Lets me manage all my sites in one place. I can write, publish and upload media. Its a great compliment to the self-hosted tools on WordPress.com

Great App

The app opens up a lot of new ways to put WordPress to use. The Reader and commenting system has made it the perfect platform for a private family network. Even the least techie member of the family can participate. I enjoy using the apps editor to write and most of the admin tools are easy to use. I hope to see these apps continue to fine tune existing features and add new ones.

Useless

Any posts I create since the update dont show up on my blog at all. Only in the editor as published "locally" but they dont even show up in the app version of the blog.

Great

Great way to express

I really love the new WordPress app!

Update: The photo uploading problem is finally fixed Yay! This app is a HUGE improvement over the old one. The new app has made all the difference in terms of posting easily and quickly. Which, lets face it, is the most you could expect from an app, right? I mean, if you can get your work done more efficiently, then you have more time to spend on the important stuff. Stuff like thinking up great new ideas to write about! Which coincidentally, you can also do right here within this app! What you ask? An app that helps you think you think up new ideas?? Well yes, if you spend that extra time using the great Reader section to peruse other peoples newest posts and news. I LOVE the WordPress Reader, and Im really puzzled why more people dont choose to enable the Follow function for using the Reader to have others follow their blogs. *One word of advice & a little pep talk to myself: BE CAREFUL to make sure that the app uploads your ENTIRE recent entry. Especially if youre writing the same post using multiple devices & the web editor. Because fluky things can and do happen. Even when told your entry was uploaded, it may not have been completely uploaded. This is more of a problem in low-bandwidth situations for me. So its a REALLY good idea to just check 1st, rather then risk losing content that you need to rewrite. Or, to write your first drafts using a word processor and then just paste them into the various editors. That way you always have a local backup. Auto saves & even manual saves sometimes arent complete. This is true using any editor...its just a part of the online writing experience! But its so easily avoided just by checking 1st. OK? *My Easily skipped, very detailed (and by detailed I mean wordy) example: Heres an example of what happens to me sometimes. I write my 1st draft in the app using iPad 1. I make sure my local copy is uploaded. Because the battery is now drained I move on to iPad 2 to edit, upload and place my images. I can do this right in the app now...once again Yay! Before using iPad 2s WP app I remember to 1st pull down on the screen that shows all of my drafts...this is done to get the app to update all local copies of my drafts. So far so good right? THIS IS WHERE I GOOF UP! I now switch to Safari for some additional tweaking like proof reading, cleaning up some formatting, resizing and aligning my images etc. But I FORGET to check to make sure that the version Im now working on is truly the newest one. Inevitably I end up rewriting a few parts too. While doing so I notice that a few typos I had already corrected arent corrected here...so I correct them again. I make sure everything is saved by previewing again. *btw, your best off previewing using either the app or the older web editor. The newer web editor doesnt display the whole post when using an iPad, it just displays first page or about a screens worth of content. Back to my story... I think that all is good and I decide to take a break. When I come back I begin to use iPad 1 again which has now been recharged. But when I open the app it seems like it was never completely closed, because Im inside the editing screen again...but Im not sure why. More than likely this occurred because I previewed what Id written, and then I noticed some typos and so I opened the editor again to fix them. I did make sure those uploaded from local too...but I think what May happen is I just exit the app and move to the web editor before everything is really done uploading. So now, if I just close the editor by exiting it, I get the message: Some of your changes havent been updated...youll lose them if you do this...do you really want to close this? Now Im confused. Because it turns out that this is where those missing typo corrections got lost from. So I think to myself, OK, I fixed them again so I dont need them right? But maybe there were other rewrites too...I dont really remember. Ill lose them if I close it...but if I push them to upload I may very well end up causing some sections to revert back to their older versions now...because remember, the newest ones were entered via the web editor. This is how NOT TO DO THINGS! The better way is to just check each time you switch editors or devices, to make sure that what youre editing is truly the most updated content. Its so simple to do the check on the front end and by doing so you can save a lot of time and anguish! My 2 tried and true methods to get me out of trouble if this happens. 1. Before closing the editor, I use SELECT ALL and then COPY and PASTE to backup the entire post into the Apple notes app...you can do this in split screen mode to make it easier. Then I compare these sections one at a time to the sections previewed from the web editor. Then I close the app editor without updating. 2. An alternative method is to use the history of your revisions that are displayed at end of the web editors display. By using this history you can determine if the content from the apps editor needs to be uploaded or if you can safely close it. Pull the most current sections from each history or revision entry and paste them somewhere...if its just a few, just paste them directly into the editor. All of this could have been avoided if I had just remembered to check before I started to use a different editor (web versus app) or a different device...to make sure that what I was starting with was in fact the most current entry! *fyi: This is not a problem with this app...its a universal one with all web building and blogging editors. Its just the nature of the beast, so to speak. Real time writing online using any editor requires developing some simple habits that can make your life much easier! Im still learning this myself :-)

Good so far!

I just started to blog here and find it to work really well. I like that there is a free option that works well both on the computer and on my mobile.
